Life presents us with many events and issues that warrant professional guidance. Recently, I was faced with real estate issues that needed clarification. If I sell, do I need to go through an agent or, as a buyer preferred, should I sell property without one? What forms are needed under these different situations to make certain the transactions are legal and biding and I’m protected? What are the advantages and drawbacks to my options? I went online. I found a lot of good information and learned that there were options, forms, contracts, and professionals ready to establish an online relationship. I did not find any sense of comfort, security, closure or caring. Does that matter? To me, it does. As I am not a legal professional, I need to know that my decisions are based on solid information, secure in the laws to protect me, and supported by someone who knows me and cares that my legal and emotional needs are met. So, I googled area attorneys. Websites speak volumes. Transparency is vital. Being able to traverse a website to acquire the information easily, and thoroughly, was a crucial first step. I have never had to deal with a probate filing before and Ean and her associates were very helpful in leading me through the process.
