With 10 years of experience in the legal industry, Janai plays a vital role in supporting the Firm’s estate planning and business law matters. Before joining Hamilton Law, she worked as a legal assistant at another Southwest Michigan law firm and served as a Deputy Clerk for the Kalamazoo County Government.
Janai earned her associate degree in liberal arts from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Western Michigan University. She is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law, with plans to continue serving individuals and businesses in need of legal services.
An active member of her community, Janai serves on the Junior Leadership Committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters and is also a member of the Kalamazoo Metropolitan Branch of the NAACP.
In her free time, Janai enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and unwinding with a good TV series.
