My business is being sued and I want to settle it. How do I begin?

If your business has been sued it can be a very stressful time and if you want to settle it that may be a good possibility but one of the things you want to do right away even if you’ve already reached out to the other side and you’ve already maybe come to an understanding and come to an agreement you’ll still want to retain counsel if nothing more than just to look over the agreement to make sure that you’re fully protected and that even if you if you end up selling the case paying an amount or resolving it that nothing can come back to bite you later on down the line and you can be result for for something else that wasn’t covered in the agreement.
