What does the closing process look like for a residential real estate transaction?

Well every real estate transaction may look a little bit different but typically you’re going to have a you’re going to start with a purchase agreement then you’re going to go and have a title insurance and a title search done on the property and then there’s going to be various processes that are happening sometimes that you don’t even see that are happening behind the scenes for example with underwriting but then you’ll eventually get a closing statement and then you go for with the final closing documents which will include the title information and all the mortgage information and various other legal documents that you will ultimately sign at the closing which you can actually request from the real estate agent in advance of your closing to review.
