Adonne R. Washington, Esq.

Special Counsel Attorney

Adonne is a Special Counsel Attorney for Hamilton Law, where she guides entrepreneurs and small business owners in the process of protecting their most valuable intellectual property, trademarks, and corporate branding.

Adonne graduated with her Juris Doctorate (JD) law degree from Howard University School of Law in May 2020. She received her B.A. in Social Relations and Policy with a minor in Public Relations in the spring of 2017 from Michigan State University.

During her time as a law student, Adonne worked as a legal extern with Public Knowledge, working on matters of intellectual property, broadband, content moderation, and platform competition issues. While in law school, she worked in the Intellectual Property Trademark Clinic for Howard University Law School, assisting clients with their trademark searches, and completing and filing their USPTO applications. Adonne was an e-board member for the Intellectual Student Property Association, as well as a member of the Black Student Law Association and the Sports and Entertainment Law Student Association where she took part in various events and community service projects.

Adonne also serves as an Associate Counsel for the Digital Justice Initiative at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and she is also the managing partner of her own law firm, A.R. Washington, PLLC.
